Where's My Refund

HOW TO CHECK THE STATUS OF MY FEDERAL REFUND

1. Go to www.irs.gov

2. Under the “Refunds” tab click “Where’s My Refund.

3. You will need to enter your social security number, filing status, and refund amount before fees (located on page 1 of your 1040 Federal form).

4. After entering the required information, click “submit” and the next screen will provide you with an update. *If no update is available, please contact (1 800)-829-1040 for the Internal Revenue Service( IRS).
